What's the Catch?

If this seems too good to be true, please, by all means, review the fine print to discover what is and what is not included with your subscription.

Below you can read about what services or fees are not included in any plan, the requirements to cancel your subscription, and other random policies I've come up with.

What's Not Included

Overnight courier or overnight postage fees are not included.  We pay for first class mail postage only via the United States Postal Service.  Your fees include any first class mail package under 13 ounces.  Packages over 13 ounces are required by the United States Postal Service to be sent by priority mail, priority mail express, or express mail, and is not included in any plan.

Client phone calls or appointments with the Attorney are not included in any plan.  I am a very small practice, wearing virtually every hat myself.  I prefer to spend my time working on letters and cases, not playing phone tag or keeping track of billable time.  Virtual or in person meetings are currently available at an additional fee of $200 per hour, minimum of 30 minutes to be billed whether the time is used or not.  Phone calls are by appointment only, and the fee payable 24 hours before the appointment time.

Phone calls to credit bureaus or creditors are not included in any plan.  In the rare case this becomes necessary, these services must be paid in advance at an agreed upon estimated rate.  This service can be declined by either party.

The Fine Print

The Attorney will be the sole decider of the order in which credit items are disputed, unless you have selected the Plaid package.  Your preferences and input are welcome, however to accommodate all clients' cases efficiently, the order in which items are disputed is the sole discretion and strategy of the Attorney.

Cancellations may be made by logging into your account and selecting the cancel option.  Email notice of cancellation is also available, as long as the email received comes from the email address linked to your account.  You may also cancel by sending a letter of your cancellation notice to the Attorney.  Should you send a letter, it must contain your original signature.

FAQs

Can I schedule an in person consultation with the Attorney?

Yes!  I have offices throughout Southern California, mainly in Riverside, Carlsbad, and Escondido, California.  I can also set up a zoom meeting if you prefer.  In person meetings are by appointment only, and are subject to an additional charge of $200 per hour, minimum of 1/2 hour, and billed at 15 minute increments.  Payments for Attorney fees for meetings or phone calls must be made at the time the appointment is scheduled.  No shows will be billed for a one-half hour.

Can I sign up if I don't live in California?

Absolutely!  Credit laws are federal laws, which means I can represent you and send letters on your behalf no matter what state you live in.  Attorneys with a license from any state can practice federal laws in any state.

Can you guarantee my results like other credit repair companies?

If anyone offers you a guarantee, you should be very skeptical, if that's not already a reason to distrust them.  First, no one can predict the future, not even companies with a 'guarantee.'  A guarantee is nothing but a gimmick and a quick way to make unsuspecting people trust them.  Don't trust them.  Do you really think they will give you any money back?

As an attorney, our rules of ethics prohibit us from making any guarantee whatsoever.  I am not even allowed to guarantee that gravity will be here tomorrow.

But I can tell you about my past performance and success history.  Our methods have a high success rate to getting negative credit items deleted and raising credit scores.  Further, if it's not already obvious, I have a personal vendetta against the credit bureaus.  They ruin so many people's lives, and they made my life very difficult for many years.  Now that I am an attorney, I have many legal tools in my arsenal to take them on.  I take every one of these cases personally.  If this doesn't convince you I will do my damnedest for you, and I'm hellbent on getting you the best results, then I don't know what will.

Why are you better than other credit repair services?

Most other credit repair services aren't attorneys, for one.  This is actually a pretty big deal.  If they aren't attorneys, they aren't ACCOUNTABLE.  They can run off with your money whenever they want, and you can't do anything about it.  There is no governing board or Bar Association holding them accountable, like attorneys have.  If they screw up your case, who are you going to complain to?  Who will protect you if they make things worse for you?  No one.

Did you know non-attorney credit repair services have to be licensed and bonded in the state of California?  Yep, but most of them don't.  That's what makes them so fly by night - they don't get the proper licenses required by the state, and there's no bond to protect their customers.  Yikes!

Other credit repair companies also do the worst thing they can to serve you - and that's sending form letters.  Credit bureaus have computers that scan for form letters, and automatically deny the verification claim when they are spotted.  And you have no way of knowing what was sent to the credit bureaus.  If the other credit repair company can't get it removed, they'll just tell you the information was properly verified.   They don't have to give you a copy.   This is nothing less than a disservice to consumers, and I don't do that.  I'm a pretty good writer, so I enjoy writing a unique dispute letter on your behalf.
